Worked for NWB/Qwest for 16 years in Spencer, then moved to Spirit Lake working for Alliant Energy for 26 years retiring in 2011. In Jan of 2014 I decided I needed to do a little something to keep busy so work 20hrs a week managing a small phone/internet company in Superior Iowa. Have 3 grandchildren who live here ages 15,12,6 and follow them in football, wrestling, baseball, hockey, t ball and dance. Live in town of Spirit Lake for 6 months and on East Lake Okoboji for 6 months. Want to go to Florida for winter but haven't convinced my husband of that as he wants to be here for the kids winter sports. My husband retired in March of this year 2014. It has been an adjustment for both of us

I have 2 best friends from 3rd grade on.. Laurie Greer and Kathy Norman who I have remained in touch with thru the years. Now they are retired and come to the lake in the summer and we meet for lunch once a week. Great fun.
